Locality: MX Hiway 19, ca. 8 km west of Cabo San Lucas (Baja California Sur, Mexico)

Notes: in xerophilous/sarcocaulescent scrub on coastal piedmont southwest of Sierra de la Laguna. Note the papillose, aciculate stinging hairs.
