Notes: Sericocarpus tortifolius (formerly Aster tortifolius) along the Kitching Creek Trail at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Pine Flatwoods. One of the more unusual little asters blooming now. The species name "tortifolius" refers to the twisted leaves of the plant.
