Notes: Hinahina, ??hinahina or Maui wormwood Asteraceae Endemic to the Hawaiian Islands O?ahu (Cultivated)  Foliage is faintly aromatic having a sagebrush/wormwood fragrance. Early Hawaiians used hinahina to preserve feather cloaks from insect destruction when stored in calabashes. The leaves were pounded for asthma.  NP
