Locality: 1991 burn near Foresta, Yosemite National Park (Mariposa County, California, US)

Notes: This species is becoming less common due to fire suppression, and logging followed by herbicide spraying and tree planting operations. This burn is a good place to see a naturally recovering burned area in the Sierra Nevada.
