Notes: Clarkia concinna ssp. automixa. Arvind (trip sweeper, ace botanist) was telling us that unlike other subspecies of C. concinna, the stamens and pistil in this subspecies are the same height, so it can self-pollinate. This allows it to occupy shadier areas that might not attract as many pollinators.
