Fr ovoid, subterete, densely puberulent, with conspicuous narrow ribs; oil- tubes solitary in the intervals, 2-4 on the commissure; carpophore bifid to the base; umbels long- pedunculate, very dense; bracts several, linear; rays 20-40, about equal; umbellets many-fld; bractlets numerous, linear; sep linear; pet white; stylopodium depressed-conic; biennials or perennials with pinnate to decompound lvs and deeply incised lfls. 80, Eurasia.
