Fr broadly ovate, flattened laterally, constricted at the commissure; ribs 5 per mericarp, narrow, prominent; oil-tubes solitary in the intervals, 2 on the commissure; carpophore bifid at least to the middle; umbels long-peduncled, terminal and lateral; invol none or of 1-3 lance-subulate bracts; rays many; umbellets many-fld; bractlets 4-6, shorter than the pedicels; sep none; pet yellow or greenish-white; stylopodium low-conic; taprooted biennials with pinnately or ternate-pinnately decompound lvs. 5, Eur., Medit.
