A slender, low, European annual with alternate, narrowly oblanceolate lvs, conspicuous, caudate stipules, congested cymose infl, and small, pentamerous fls with 3 sessile stigmas, is occasionally found near the coast, formerly often as a ballast weed, but is not certainly established with us.
