Glabrous annual; stems trailing, rooting at the nodes, 1-4 dm; lvs long-petioled, suborbicular in outline, with 3-7 shallow lobes; fls solitary in the axils on long slender pedicels; cor blue with yellow palate, 7-10 mm, the spur obtuse, 2-3 mm; fr 3-4 mm thick; 2n=14. Native of Eurasia, often escaped from cult. in our range. Summer. (C. cymbalaria; Linaria cymbalaria)
