Stems erect, 5-8 dm, finely hairy; lvs long-petioled, lance- ovate, 3-5 cm, acute at both ends, serrate; cor 3.5-4 mm. Native of e. Asia, established in moist places in se. Ky. Aug., Sept. (Lycopus d.; Orthodon d.)
