LEAVES: leaflets 15-29. elliptic to narrowly ovate.
FLOWERS: corollas bluish violet to lavender, the lobes rounded to acute.
NOTES: See also parent taxon. Open sites, meadows, and along streams, coniferous forests; Apache, Cochise (Huachuca Mts.), Coconino, Greenlee, Navajo cos.; 2150-3050 m (7000-10000 ft); Jun-Aug (Oct). Range of the species.
