Basal leaf blades spatulate, 1-10 × 0.3-1 cm. Cauline leaf blades perfoliate, 1-5 cm diam. Flowers 2-4 mm diam., petals white. 2n = 24.

Flowering Apr-Jul. Rock crevices, moist alluvial fans; 100-2000 m; Ariz., Calif., Nev., Utah; Mexico (Baja California).

LEAVES: basal leaves narrowly oblanceolate to spatulate, 2.2-12.4 cm long, 0.6-4 cm wide; cauline leaves connate and perfoliate.

FLOWERS: 6-19; sepals 1-2.3 mm long; petals 3-3.5 mm long, white.

SEEDS: 1.0-1.5 mm long.
