Leaf blades 3-lobed, rarely unlobed to shallowly lobed, 3-5 cm wide. Flowers: hypanthium 7.5-16 mm, 1.5-2 times as long as sepals; sepals 5-8 mm; petals yellow, turning orange. 2n = 16.
