PLANT: Annual,4-10 cm tall, much branched throughout; stems ascending to erect, glandular.

LEAVES: entire to deeply palmately lobed, the lobes 10-20 mm long, glabrous.

INFLORESCENCE: compact, the flowers 1-3, terminal to axillary.

FLOWERS: subsessile; calyx glandular pubescent, narrowly campanulate, 4-5 mm long, the lobe length less than the tube, the hyaline margins about as wide as the herbaceous ribs; corolla nocturnal, closed during the day, funnelform, 4-7 mm long, cream, the throat and tube tinged with purple; stamens inserted on the throat; style included to slightly exserted.
