Perennials, 60-90+ cm. Aerial nodes proximal to first peduncle usually (5-)6-12+, distalmost 1-3 internodes 4-12 cm. Leaves: mostly cauline on proximal 1/2-2/3 of plant heights; petioles 0-35+ mm; blades usually simple, rarely with 1(-3+) lateral lobes, simple blades or terminal lobes oblong-elliptic or ovate to elliptic, 45-95+ × 22-35+ mm. Peduncles 12-25(-40) cm. Calyculi of lanceolate to lance-linear bractlets 6-9 mm. Phyllaries lance-ovate to lanceolate, 9-12 mm. Ray laminae yellow, 20-30+ mm. Disc corollas 3.4-4.4 mm, apices yellow. Cypselae 2.2-2.8 mm, wings ± spreading, ± chartaceous, entire. 2n = 26
