Distribution: Native to Europe and Greenland, and introduced to the US. There are several scattered collections from east of the Mississippi River, and several more from the Southern Rocky Mountains and Mogollon Rim.

Ethnobotany: The Eskimo and Inuktitut used this wild mustard as a condiment in fish soup.
