Fr glabrous, elliptic to obovate, strongly flattened dorsally, the lateral ribs narrowly winged, the others filiform; oil-tubes solitary in the intervals and visible to the naked eye through the pericarp, 2-4 on the commissure; carpophore bifid to the base; umbels large, compound, the terminal soon overtopped by the lateral ones; bracts and bractlets usually none; rays numerous, unequal; sep minute or none; pet yellow; stylopodium depressed-conic; tall stout herbs, the lower lvs long-petioled, the upper on shorter, wholly sheathing petioles, all typically once pinnate, the lfls variously serrate to lobed or divided, those of the larger lvs sometimes again few-pinnate. 15, temp.
