Fls in small, condensed, lf-opposed cymes that are partly enclosed by the conspicuous, foliaceous, connate stipules, stamen 1(2), inserted on the inner margin of the disk; small, taprooted annuals with deeply dissected lvs; otherwise like Alchemilla, and sometimes included therein. 20, widespread.
