Lvs linear-oblanceolate, obtuse, glaucous, to 6 dm נ5 cm; scape 3-7 dm, rather fleshy, with 2-6 fls; perianth-tube very slender, 5-10 cm, the segments linear, about as long as the tube, widely curved-spreading; corona broadly funnelform, 3-4 cm, erose-margined. Wooded swamps; s. Ind. to s. Mo., s. to the Gulf. Aug. (H. occidentalis)
