My Martin County specimen was collected along White River about 3 miles above Shoals on the top of a thinly wooded promontory about 100 feet high, locally known as "Cedar Cliffs." My Perry County specimen was collected on a thinly wooded sandstone ridge about 7 miles east of Cannelton, locally known as the Van Buren Ridge. Kriebel has found it in ten places in Lawrence County.
